Maria’s Story
I’ve been an athlete pretty much my entire life, where the intersection of work, play and training has often found a little something sweet mixed in. It started when I was a little girl in Russia, and my dad would reward me with a lollipop or chocolate after a long day of practice.
It stood out to me then–and still today–that there’s no reason why hard work can’t be rewarded with a little sweet treat. Because the key to a happy, healthy life for me is this idea of Moderation in Moderation–you can 100% have your cake (or candy) and enjoy it, too.
That’s why I started Sugarpova–to celebrate the fun and passion of candy by creating high quality treats you can feel good about indulging in. It all started with gummy candies, and now after much exploration, I’ve curated cocoa beans of the highest quality to create unique, melt-in-your-mouth flavors for Sugarpova Premium Chocolate line.
